Abstract: Living organisms are complex both in their structure and
their functioning. Electrophysiological signals are electrical
consequence of functioning of many systems which were used for
many decades to decipher processes by neuroscientific researchers
and clinicians. However, in last decade a completely new avenue of
research is opening before our eyes: non-linear dynamical analysis of
those electrophysiological data coming from theory of Chaos. It
seems that Chaos is not that terrifying: on the contrary we would not
probably survive without it. About new findings, new possible
applications, many results of many research groups and capacities of
tracking changes of aging and disease in electrophysiological signals,
Dr Milena Čukić will talk to you on this exciting seminar.
